John Green, geboren 1977, ist in Orlando, Florida aufgewachsen. Der preisgekrönte Autor wurde bereits mehrfach für den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis nominiert und erhielt 2010 die Corine für Margos Spuren . Er arbeitete unter anderem als Rezensent für die New York Times und als Radiokommentator. Zusammen mit seinem Bruder Hank führt er einen der beliebtesten Videoblogs bei YouTube . Heute lebt Green gemeinsam mit seiner Frau und seinem Sohn in Indiana.Lauren Myracle, geboren 1969, studierte Englisch und Psychologie und arbeitete einige Jahre als Lehrerin in den USA und in Japan. Sie ist die Autorin von zahlreichen Büchern für Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene, von denen bereits mehrere ausgezeichnet wurden. Die Autorin sieht das Schreiben für ein junges Publikum als ihre Lebensaufgabe und ist sehr glücklich das zu tun, was sie liebt und sogar dafür bezahlt zu werden.Maureen Johnson ist in einem Vorort von Philadelphia aufgewachsen. Sie hat an der Columbia University Dramaturgie und Kreatives Schreiben studiert. Seitdem arbeitet sie als freie Autorin.
