Dr. Mohammad Aslam is Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology (Ministry of Education, Government of India), Srinagar (India). He obtained his first Master's degree in "Industrial Chemistry" from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, followed by Master's degree in "Fuels and Combustion" from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra (Ranchi), Jharkhand (India). Later, he was awarded doctorate from National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar (India), for his dissertation entitled, "Hydroprocessing of seed oils into transportation fuels". He also worked as Post-Doctoral Fellow/Research Associate in Sardar Swaran Singh National Institute of Bioenergy (An Autonomous Institution of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India). He has more than 15 years of academic and research experience. His current research is focusing on green fuels derived from second-/third-generation feedstocks and their application to transportation sectors. He has established a biofuels research laboratory in the Department of Chemistry, NIT Srinagar, India.  Dr Shrikant Shivaji Maktedar is Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, National Institute of Technology (Ministry of Education, Government of India), Srinagar, J&K, India. He received B.Sc. degree in Chemistry from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (Maharashtra), and M.Sc. degree in Physical Chemistry from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad (Maharashtra). He has completed his Ph.D. from Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, India. In the last 10 years, he has been working in the field of carbonaceous materials with emphasis on their multifunctional applications. He has published more than 10 research publications in peer-reviewed international journals of repute, one book chapter, and two full length conference papers.
