Hilty is full professor at the Department of Informatics at the University of Zurich as well as Director of the Zurich Knowledge Center for Sustainable Development. He researches the opportunities and risks of digital technologies for sustainable development. Mattias Höjer is Professor in Environmental Strategies and Futures Studies at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
