It comprehensively analyses all the surviving judgements of the Court. In addition, the extensive archive holdings made it possible to analyse the biographies of the special judges and to conduct a sociographical study of those sentenced by them. In summary, the author concludes that the Freiburg Special Court was a tool of National Socialist politics.
Autoren-Porträt von Maximilian Wunderlich
Maximilian Wunderlich studierte von 2014 bis 2020 Rechtswissenschaft in Freiburg und Vilnius und schloss sein Studium mit der ersten juristischen Staatsprüfung im Juni 2020 ab. Anschließend nahm er ein Promotionsstudium unter der Betreuung von Herrn Professor Dr. Frank L. Schäfer, LL.M. (Cambridge) auf. Während der Promotionszeit war Maximilian Wunderlich als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Institut für Rechtsgeschichte und geschichtliche Rechtsvergleichung der Rechtswissenschaftlichen Fakultät der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg tätig. Im Jahr 2023 erfolgte der Eintritt in den juristischen Vorbereitungsdienst des Landes Baden-Württemberg am Oberlandesgericht Karlsruhe.
