The basis of this book is our lecture "Basics of cutting and abrasive processes" (4 semester hours/3 credit hours) at the Leibniz University Hannover, which we offer to the diploma and master students specializing in manufacturing science.

Autoren-Porträt von Hans Kurt Toenshoff, Berend Denkena
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Berend Denkena promovierte 1992 am Institut für Fertigungstechnik und spanende Werkzeugmaschinen (IFW) der Universität Hannover. Ab 1996 führte er bei Gildemeister Drehmaschinen den Bereich Entwicklung und Konstruktion. 2001 wurde er als Leiter des Instituts für Fertigungstechnik und Werkzeugmaschinen der Universität Hannover als Nachfolger von Herrn Prof. Tönshoff berufen.
